IMPORTANT TIP: As your body begins to see increases in both strength and flexibility it is a good idea to return to your golf pro in order to redefine your swing technique. To increase overall performance your instructor will find your most optimal pattern of movement and help you to regroove your neural pathways so that your stroke becomes fluid and dependable.
Golf Fit Descriptions
BioMechanical Analysis – an assessment of your current musculo-skeletal make up using digital photography and measurements. Seeing is believing!
Home Conditioning Program – a series of 6-12 strength and/or flexibility exercises that can be done at home (some on the course) that will help bring your body back into it’s natural balance and over time, allow you a full range of motion in your golf swing. These simple exercises are given to you with printed descriptions and pictures.
Private and Semi Private Sessions – a 60 minute program designed personally for your body to compliment your at home program. Using the Pilates apparatus, your core strength and flexibility will increase more quickly and dramatically. It’s amazing equipment, just ask Tiger!
BioMechanical Reassessment – more pictures, more measurements to document the progress that you’ve made.
On Course Exercises – a handful of understated but incredibly effect stretches you can do on the course (without looking like a goofus) before you tee off, chip and putt that will loosen you up in all the right places. Laminated picture cards you can keep in your bag will help jog your memory.
